I give you my life,
The ultimate, selfless sacrifice,
Yet still you slide
Down that steep, steep slope
From life into death you slide.

Photo taken in the farmlands of Templeton, California. Winter is a strange time on the California central coast. The grass is so green, yet many of the trees boast not a single leaf. There was a bit of mistletoe attacking this particular one.

Combination of 2 exposures from 1 RAW file. De-saturation and split toning performed in Photoshop CS4. Some curves work applied and soft vignette added to further the mood I wished to portray.
