This might be the shortest and most self-explanatory tutorial you've ever seen.
If you watch 's work, then I'm sure you've heard him bragging about the filter. If you don't know why, then here's a side-by-side comparison that'll reveal the truth and glory of the polarizer filter.
The point is, if you're a photographer, get a polarizer filter if you don't have one. I use a HOYA, but there are other options. They aren't all that pricey . . . and look what they can do. I've done absolutely 0 editing to these pictures, and the difference is already extreme. Polarizer filters improve contrast, saturation, and lighting across the board. It deflects light so you can get all the details out of clouds. There have been instances when the filter reveals clouds that don't even exist without the filter. It also minimizes reflections in water. What more could you ask for in this one little tool? I love it even more every time I use it.
Any Suggestions as to what kind?.. i just got a DSLR and already want one.. UV causes degradation if u get really cheap ones.. how about Polarizing?... Does Price Make a difference and if so how much?..
